About Aakar Empowerment Private Limited

Aakar Empowerment Pvt Ltd (AEL) is a training and consultancy organisation working in the area of soft-skill life-transformational training. It also specializes in conducting organizational development interventions in the area of behavioral safety and change management. It has been working in these areas for the last 12 years.

AEL has conducted more than 3000 training programs / workshops / seminars for various organisations listed below.

 

Over and above AEL has been actively working with youngsters for character building workshops. It also organizes workshops on husband wife relationships, positive attitude, interpersonal relationship, memory enhancement and leadership. It has interacted with more than 8000 teachers in Gujarat for workshops on “Quality of education”.

Today Aakar works majorly with the following organisations:

 

  • Tata Steel Ltd : From April ’13, Aakar is working with Tata Steel Limited, Kalinganagar, Odisha, for behavioral safety interventions. We will be working for one year with 10-12000 workers.

 

  • Tata Power : Aakar works at its seven power producing locations for 3 days life-transformational programs for its executives through its “Spandan” program. It also works for workers through its “Worker Development Program”. This has improved their productivity.

Aakar also worked at Coastal Gujarat Power Ltd, Mundra (a fully-owned subsidiary of Tata Power) for behavioral safety interventions. In the last 2.5 years, there has been zero fatality at this project site, where at peak of its work, 14000 workers worked. From April ’13, Aakar is working its site Kalinganagar, Odisha, for behavioral safety interventions. We are working  with 12-1500 workers per year.

  • Tata Chemicals Limited: It works it its manufacturing site at Mithapur, Gujarat, Babrala, Uttar Pradesh and its Noida office. “Spandan” and “Worker Development Program” are being conducted here.

 

  • Adani Port and SEZ Limited, Mundra, Gujarat: It works at its port site for behavioral safety interventions with almost 5000 workers. This has been on from August ’12 and is still continuing. We have got very encouraging results and the port has become a safer place to work at.

 

  • Jasvant B Shah Group, Ahmedabad: It works with this 54 years old logistics company from the last 2 years for soft-skill training, counselling and coaching programs.

Aakar has worked in the past for following Organization

 

  • Gujarat Police: Aakar has worked extensively with all cadres of Gujarat police for behavioral change in the area of customer servicing at various locations.

 

  • Karmayogi Abhiyan: Suresh and Dinesh Prajapati were amongst the five master trainers for this project, where in 5 lakh employees of government went through a four day behavioral program for betterment in their lives and customer servicing. Department of revenue, DRDA, forest, sales tax, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has also benefited from these programs.

 

  • Social & Voluntary Organisations and Educational Institutes: Aakar has also extensively worked with organisations like Rotary Club, Lions Club, Medical Association, Jain Social Group, Dada Bhagwan Foundation, , Brahmakumaris, Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Sansthan (BAPS).  It has also worked with Madhav International School, South Gujarat University, North Gujarat University, Nirma University for their professors and teachers. It has also worked with Agakhan Foundation, Center for Environment Education, SEWA, Deepak Foundation, Shroff Foundation, Marag and Saath to name a few.
